Jeanfield Swifts Community FC is a large and growing club with ambitions to give more children, young people and adults the opportunity to stay physically and mentally fit through the medium of football.

Our designs are currently at an early stage as we are in the pre-application process. There are two main reasons for this:

Consultation

Because of the size of the site, it is classed as a Major Development. This means we need to consult with our community about the plans.

As part of this consultation, we want to ask members of the community what they would like to do with the area of community greenspace our club will no longer use for football. The drawing below is just a suggestion, but we believe the local community should be able to say to Perth & Kinross Council what they would like to see happen.

Community greenspace

At present, the grass pitches and community pavilion on Bute Drive (the red outline) are managed by Community Greenspace at Perth & Kinross Council. We currently hold a long-term lease on the stadium and pitch. We want to increase the area we lease (shown in blue) to include some of the community greenspace.

Want to contribute?

We’re looking for community members to express their own ideas and opinions on what should happen to the greenspace areas we no longer need for football.
